Testimonial from Student Abdulrahman Alhumoud
"My name is abdulrahman alhumoud
I'm an artist. And I also have a vision disability from birth I did a couple for three years of surgeries ( lens planting ) inside my eyes and I never went to a special-needs school because my family didn't accepted me as a person with a disability. So I spent my educational years in a normal schools and it's obvious to say that it's very hard for a disabled person to blend with the normal kids so all the years I've been in school was a nightmare and I never even told my family The truth . I lied and told them that everything is fine and Im making new friends. But in reality I was a loser. every day I was bullied and made fun of and I always break my glasses. And always got beat up Everyday Because I was "different " and also there was a time where I lost a precious person I considered him my older brother he passed away by car accident.
so because of that I didn't have any future goals and I always play video games alone and food was the only friend that listens to me so I gained a lot of weight back then. After the years I ask myself what is my goal ? why am I studying ? Even though I hate studying what is my destiny ? That's when it hit me that I want a career that connects with my hobbies.
So in 2012 i graduated from high school thats when I started my journey as an artist.my beginnings was drawing portraits with pencils and charcoal.
And that's when the challenge started.
(My sight versus my vision)
and that's when I made a promise to myself that I would do whatever takes to make everyone proud so I participated too many galleries and one to many awards and got a lot of certificates from ambassadors it was a wonderful step and on 2014 I discovered my style and arts by using oil pastel and sharp tools to make artistic lines to make a beautiful painting and it's amazing that I have my own style and signature and art it's what I wanted

So there was a time I looked at myself in the mirror and I told myself that if I want to become an artist I need to look like an artist. So I search for a lot of gyms even though they have a lot of amazing pools and machines I never found The fire that heats my heart to do my best and to continue. So on my search on social media I found too many pictures of training for warriors taking a group pictures on Instagram So I felt something warm and powerful from those pictures. So I called the head coach abdullah alawadhi he was so generous and he showed me everything I need to know about training for warriors and that's when My journey begins
The day one at training for warriors eight weeks transformation course
was a complete disaster I couldn't even complete The warm-up exercises I felt dizzy and a lot of pain on my muscles and I was about to throw up and my vision was blur.
The worst part that I promised myself that I want to make a first good impression and I failed. But on the day the coaches stood up by my side and cheered me up and gave me hope again. So it gave me hope and I'm not alone in this. When I feel this way I can take on anything and my weight was 104.
And I have two reasons why I must do my best in training for Warriors
Number one
that I gave my word to all my coaches that I will do whatever it takes to make them proud no matter what and nothing is impossible. Once you try
Number two
the name of abdullah alawadhi is also the name of my best friend my big brother who passed away... this name It gave me incredible strength that even though he's not around when I hear the name it gives me strength to fight
And I finally achieved one of my goals after completing the eight weeks transformation I lost a lot of weight and when I saw the The happiness on my coaches it filled my heart with fire so the head coach treated me with an awesome dinner. Was the best day
So after when I achieved my goal I decided continue my journey and make new goals on training for warriors and not stop. So I pushed myself beyond the limits so I gained speed strength mobility knowledge and confidence. And now my current weight is 90. So a lot of my friends saw achievements and decided to join so I started motivates
A lot of people on joining
And there was a educational process subject in my college that I'd be a teacher for one semester. and after when they found out that I have a vision disability they decided to send me to a special-needs school where I teach special needs students with visual disabilities. I made a promise to myself that I will make the students give their best and defeat their visions disabilities like how I did and make them remember me because this is what I've wanted my whole life when I was a kid so I don't want any of those kids feel the same pain as I did.
So I also took them to the school football court and gave them couple of training for warriors workouts like the jumping jacks and squats and jogging with high knees and others
And because of the power I gained from training for warriors I couldn't believe that i achieved my goal. even though the head art teacher did not believe in me or in my students.but students showed the whole school what it means to fight and what it means to defeat the disabilities they gave their best and they made incredible paintings even though they can't see and proven that disability it's just a word.
So on the last class I gave all of my students gifts to show them how much I'm proud of their achievements
And my dream as an artist
is to show the whole world that nothing is impossible once you try again and again and believe that you can. I want to give the world examples and ideals to show them that they can't give up on their dreams
And also my dream is to be a coach for special needs I will do whatever takes to make everyone proud. And whatever takes for them to reach their goals"
